Stonewell project story

Completed architectural shingle roof.

Three elevated views of the finished shingle fields, intersecting roof planes, ridges and visible roof penetrations. A completed roof is easier to understand from several viewpoints. This project is documented by an angled aerial photograph, a direct overhead view and a closer ridge view. Together, they show the relationship between the main shingle fields, adjoining roof sections, ridge lines and visible vents and pipes.

The angled aerial view shows the large architectural-shingle field and the lower connected roof sections. The different slopes, roof edges and the area beside the brick chimney can be viewed in context. This perspective helps explain which roof areas should be identified separately in a replacement proposal.

The overhead photograph shows the arrangement of roof planes, ridge lines, roof vents and pipe penetrations. It provides another view of the same finished roof and helps make the connections between the slopes easier to follow.

Look closer at the ridge and vent details.

The closer view shows shingle courses, ridge caps, ridge vents, box vents and a pipe flashing. These visible finishing details belong in the roof-system conversation alongside the main shingle selection. The photograph records the finished exterior surfaces at this part of the roof.
