Stonewell project story
Dormer roof replacement.
Two dormers and an adjoining low-slope section make the roof transitions easy to follow. The photographs move from exposed framing to a covered roof deck, then to installed shingles and the neighboring black roof surface.

01 / Roof removal
The roof beneath the shingles.
The front and overhead views show roof-deck removal around the dormers. Framing and insulation are exposed, making the shape of the dormer connections visible before the new roof covering is in place.

02 / Decking & underlayment
A new surface for the roofing system.
The next aerial view shows new decking and synthetic underlayment around the dormers and adjoining roof sections. It gives a wider view of the prepared surfaces before the shingle field is complete.

The installation photograph includes tools and materials while shingle and low-slope work is underway. The later aerial overview shows the gray shingle field, dormers and adjoining black low-slope roof surface together.
